Community Events
Recently, we have participated in some great community events! We truly enjoyed the activities organized by these groups and learned tremendously about the communities they serve, including their challenges, rewards, and successes. These events provide great team-building opportunities for our staff while we learn about and support our community.
- Canoe for Kids: Paddling in a canoe race and fundraising to support the Christie Lake Kids (CLK) Summer Camp for at-risk youth (we participate every year!).
- CHEO: Hair donations for children with cancer.
- The Mission: Sandwich making and community awareness.
- Cleaning the Capital: Joining the city-wide spring cleaning initiative every year.
- Youth Services Bureau: Participating in summer cupcake making and the “Flip Flop” drive.
- Dress for Success: Clothing drives for women re-entering the workforce.
- The Shoebox Project: Creating care packages for women’s shelters.
- Holiday Hamper Program: Gathering hampers full of food and gifts for families needing support during the holiday season.
- Food Bank: Participating in the Corporate Community Ambassador program.
We are proud of our history of involvement and look forward to continuing our support for these and many other vital community programs in the years to come.
